E-Blast 10.24.2013

Here are a few important events and announcements at Creswell:

Monday, Oct. 28 – Report Cards Issued 

Tuesday, Oct. 29, 6 p.m. – Nobody to Murder, Drama Performance 

The cost is $3 per person, and it will be in the Creswell Theater. 

Friday, Nov. 1 – Parent / Teacher Conference Day – Students do not report 

Monday, Nov. 4 – 5th and 6th grade Drama field trip to TPAC. 
Students will leave around 9 a.m. and return before 1:30 p.m. Contact Mrs. Lybarger for further information.

Tuesday, Nov. 5, 6:30 p.m. – PTSO Meeting in the library 

Friday, Nov. 8 from 8 a.m.-3p.m. - Annual Parent Engagement Summit 
The Metro Schools’ Department of Family & Community Partnerships will be hosting its second annual Parent Engagement Summit Friday, Nov. 8, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Martin Center. This year’s keynote will be delivered by Eileen Kugler, author of Innovative Voices in Education: Engaging Diverse Communities. This great event is an opportunity for the district and community to come together to learn ways to work together and engage families in their children’s educations. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 6 p.m. 

Eighth grade parents; come learn about your child’s options for high school next year. A representative from Pearl Cohn and Nashville School of the Arts will be there to explain what each of their schools has to offer as well as answer your questions. Don’t miss it!

Thursday, Nov. 14, 5-5:40 p.m. – Creswell Connections, GRADESPEED TRAINING 

You asked…we listened!! Come get hands-on training on Gradespeed. The training will be held in the Creswell library where you can practice logging in and using Gradespeed.

Thursday, Nov. 14, 6-8 p.m. – Instrumental Concert
